I wrote, directed, edited, and designed this film to a fairly simple prompt ("We want something quirky and original to show if our live feed goes down"), not expecting it to become an outpouring of my thoughts about *gestures wildly* all of this.
Yet it did, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I had a sudden loss and was grieving when it came time to finish it, and the last thing I was feeling was the sort of playful, cheery optimism and reflection that the piece represents. But having to work on it, and hear my own words read back to me, helped me cope with a very tough time. Maybe it can do the same for you. Or maybe it will just make you smile.
